What it is, exactly

Real metals, on every piece.

Every piece is built in 925 sterling silver, oxidized sterling silver, 14k gold fill or 14k solid gold — and which one is stated on the listing, printed on the card in the box, and stamped on the hallmarked gifted. tag. Gold fill is the one worth understanding: a thick layer of 14k gold pressure-bonded to a base metal core, substantially thicker than plating, which is why it holds its color far longer than a plated piece does. The glass is Japanese and vintage — heritage stock, used wherever possible instead of newly manufactured beads.
